2025.09.19 Wei Chuan Dragons × hololive night Brings Record-Breaking Crowds to Taipei Dome

The special collaboration event “Wei Chuan Dragons × hololive night”, a crossover between professional baseball team of CPBL, Wei Chuan Dragons and hololive production, was held at the Taipei Dome on August 29, 30, and 31, 2025.

From hololive English, Fuwawa Abyssgard, Mococo Abyssgard, Gigi Murin, and Raora Panthera were featured throughout the three days, bringing a brand-new experience that blended sports and virtual entertainment!

Fans arriving at the Taipei Dome were welcomed by a full hololive night makeover of the stadium, with banners, pillars, standees, and everywhere decorated in collaboration designs.

Attendees also received exclusive entry gifts: a collaboration postcard on August 29, a transparent bookmark on August 30, and a holographic commemorative ticket on August 31.


Collaboration merchandise was also available in the baseball stadium, including jerseys, acrylic stands, T-shirts, cheering towels, cushions, and a limited-edition iPASS card.

A premium bundle, the “Super Fan Exclusive Set,” was offered as well, featuring “Cheering Happi Coat”, “Special ID Holder”, “Cheering Sticker & Clapper Set”, and “Cheering Towel”.

Merchandise sales attracted long lines before store opening, with the baseball ball selling out almost immediately.
According to Wei Chuan Dragons officials, this collaboration event achieved the highest merchandise sales in the past five years.

The atmosphere at the venue was filled with enthusiasm as many fans came in cosplay, wearing hololive happi coats, bringing plushies, and oshi bags.



On August 29, hololive production CEO Motoaki “YAGOO” Tanigo delivered the ceremonial first pitch, caught by CPBL legend Ngayaw Ake’ (Lin Chih-sheng), who is set to retire at the end of the 2025 season. Their appearance became one of the highlights of the event, and the scene has been published on the team’s official YouTube channel together with a pre-game interview. In the interview, Tanigo commented:

“We are delighted to collaborate with the Wei Chuan Dragons, a team with such a storied history. VTubers are virtual entertainers on the internet, but by working together with a team with such a proud tradition, we hope to create brand-new forms of entertainment.”

The video of the interview and the ceremonial first pitch also captured the excitement of the crowd, who cheered enthusiastically as the ceremonial pitch took place.

During the games, hololive talents appeared on the big screens with exclusive video messages, rally announcements, and pre-recorded content including security announcements and cheering songs such as Goal For One, 沒有Dragons就不能活, and Dragon Robe Mission.


On Day 1, following the Wei Chuan Dragons’ victory, the special anthem Red Tide Triumph was also played.

Each day featured a different spotlight talent, as Day 1 with Gigi Murin, Day 2 with Raora Panthera, and Day 3 with FUWAMOCO.

The Wei Chuan Dragons official cheerleaders also performed dance routines to hololive English songs “Born to be “BAU”DOL☆★” and “ABOVE BELOW”.

The players wore the collaboration jerseys during the games, which were broadcast live on television featuring hololive night–themed graphics and visuals.

Each collaboration day closed with the “All For One” light show, which was warmly received by fans and generated positive reactions on social media.

Across three days, the collaboration attracted a total of 95,231 attendees, with the final day reaching a full capacity of 40,000, marking the highest-ever attendance in Taipei Dome history and the largest Sunday crowd of the season.


Thanks to the passion of the fans, “Wei Chuan Dragons × hololive night” became a truly unforgettable event!
