How to join VRChat World　NEW!

VRChat Quick Start Guide
VR headsets are not required to use VRChat! You can use a gaming PC or an Android device with a flat screen and still join in.

Recommended: Before getting started, create a VRChat account! This will allow you to pick your own username, as well as do things like upload your own custom content or log in on multiple platforms. Click here to sign up. After you’ve created your account, check your email for a verification message — if you don’t see it, check your Junk folder!

To get started, head straight to the section that matches the platform you’ll be using:

■Android Phones/Tablets (Beta):

Step 1 : Go download VRChat [Beta] from the Google Play Store! You can find it by searching for “VRChat” or by clicking here.

Step 2: Launch VRChat! You’ll need to choose an option to log in. You can log in with Google to skip account creation or use the account username and password that you created earlier.

Step 3: Load into a world! Wait for the bottom-middle rocket ship button to finish loading, then tap it. (If it takes an especially long time, restart the app!)

Step 4: Join the viv:ID Cruise! Tap the Menu button in the bottom right corner of the screen, then choose the “Worlds” option.

In the “Featured Worlds” list on the left, there will be a special category called “vivID CRUISE Recall Party”. Tap on that, then tap on the single world that appears. From here you can press “Join” to go into a public world, or create a “New Instance” to watch in private or with a group of friends.

■PCVR / Desktop:

Step 1: If you don’t have it already, go get Steam! Steam is the largest game and software distribution platform in the world. Installing it is pretty easy, just head to their site.

After you have Steam installed, either search for VRChat or click on this link. Click on Install, wait a bit, and you’re done!

Step 2: Launch VRChat! You’ll be given the option of VR or Desktop play. You’ll then need to choose an option to log in. You can log in with Steam to skip account creation or use the account username and password that you created earlier.

Step 3: Join the viv:ID Cruise! Press Esc or a controller menu button to open the Quick Menu, then choose the “Worlds” option. In the “Featured Worlds” list that appears on the left, there will be a special category called “vivID CRUISE Recall Party”. Tap on that, then tap on the single world that appears. From here you can press “Join” to go into a public world, or create a “New Instance” to watch in private or with a group of friends.

■Standalone VR (Meta Quest, Pico, HTC, etc.):

Step 1: Go download VRChat from the according store available on your headset! You can find it by searching for “VRChat”.

Step 2: Launch VRChat! You’ll need to choose an option to log in. You can log in with your platform-specific account to skip account creation or use the account username and password that you created earlier.
